Title: CT Scan TechnologistLocation: Morristown, NJ 07960Shift: Wed Thurs Fri Sat 9p-7a (overnight) including callDuration: 3 Months with the possibility of extensionInterview Process: 2 Rounds, In personRates Range: $65-$70 Per hour
Skills: 1: PREPARES EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR SPECIFIC PROCEDURES The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks. Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols. Maintains sterility of field and instruments. Correctly prepares requisitions. (professionalism and service excellence)Job Function 2: ENSURES PATIENTS PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL COMFORT Job Function 3: MAINTAINS SPECIFIC INVENTORY RECORDS AND ENSURES AREA IS STOCKED WITH ADEQUATE SUPPLIES Job Function 4: COORDINATES SCHEDULE OF DAILY EXAMS: Job Function 5: PERFORMS ALL TASKS AS REQUIRED BY COORDINATOR AND LEAD STAFF Job Function 6: ADDITIONAL RESPOSIBILITIES. When doing cases that require immediate results such as Code Grey, Trauma and Partial Trauma the images will be acquired ,processed , sent and verified/completed in PACS / RIS system per established protocol(Immediately after acquisition for Code Grey). The CT technologist will notify the radiologist as Code Grey images are beingsent and follow with any processed data after. All staff should notify the radiologist of ANY unusual finding to provide the optimum care for the patient.
SKills - CT registered; Maintains current certification/licensure as required for position.CPR mandatory
