Electrical Engineer

PrideNow has recently partnered with one of the world’s largest snack companies and is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work out of Chicago, IL. As the Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the manufacturing facility in Chicago. This person will oversee electrical systems, implement safety measures, and manage AutoCAD documentation to support facility maintenance and operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as the primary liaison for all electrical systems on the client's premises.Supervise the design, installation, and upkeep of electrical infrastructure to uphold safety standards.Perform evaluations for Alternative Energy Isolation (AEI) and implement necessary safety protocols.Create and manage precise AutoCAD drawings for electrical systems and layouts.Work alongside safety experts to incorporate AEI and Arc Flash precautions into AutoCAD documentation. Regularly inspect electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance tasks.Offer technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, aiming to minimize downtime.Conduct training sessions on electrical safety protocols for maintenance and operational teams.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning electrical systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in an industrial setting.Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating electrical drawings and schematics.Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Experience with AEI evaluations, Arc Flash Hazard analysis, and electrical safety protocols.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma Methodology and Change Management Practices is a plus.
