📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
PrideNow is hiring skilled Manual Machinists for one of our HVAC manufacturing clients in Trenton, NJ.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand machining requirements.Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills.Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards.Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes.Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to optimize production processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Vocational training or certification in machining is strongly preferred.Experience with CNC machining strongly preferredFamiliarity with various materials such as metals, plastics, and composites.High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a manual machinist or in a similar role.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.Strong knowledge of manual machining techniques and equipment.Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
