📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
PrideNow is hiring a Buyer for a manufacturer and distributor within the food and beverage industry in Jersey City, NJ.
Job Type: Permanent/Direct HireSalary Range: $85-90k annually.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Purchase merchandise and/or commodities for resaleSolicit quotations from vendors and ensure timely deliveryEngage in price negotiations with vendors and conduct forecasting activitiesGenerate purchase orders, conduct audits and oversee annual inventory processesUtilize analytical problem-solving and effective interpersonal communication skillsPerform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentMeet deadlines with accurate and detailed resultsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university5-7 years related experience in procurement and supply chain managementMust be familiar with order processing systemsMust be familiar with MS Office Suite including Word and ExcelBilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
