Senior Maintenance Supervisor

PrideNow has recently partnered with one of the world’s largest snack companies and is looking for a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to work out of Chicago, IL. This is a leadership role where you will own the technology, maintenance, process, and setting for the equipment for the line.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner and enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participate in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line levelOwn the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; own the Progressive maintenance systems and work processes and the Progressive Maintenance Key Performance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems; owns the Repairs & Maintenance budget of the lineDevelop, own, and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and build the capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they can operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department levelPartner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s; represent the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forumsAssist VSU for the new initiatives and enable the VSU team; help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and will be a trainer of PM-related subjects for the plant

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree within the food industry5+ years of experience in maintenance management in food manufacturing or related industriesProven leadership experience in preventative maintenance is required.Experience in union labor is preferred.Experience in with HPO methodologies and/or Lean Six Sigma is highly preferred!Manufacturing experience (i.e. process, continuous improvement, maintenance, line leadership roles, etc.)Qualified on the I2M / IIM Process.Qualified on AM Step 3.Capable of leading and influencing people at higher and lower levels.Understands and is trained on key pillars like IIM, AM, and PM.A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career.Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry with experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, and Integrated Lean 6 Sigma tools and concepts.Excellent communication (verbal & written).Coaching and leadership skills in a team-based environment.Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem-solving, and team buildingStrong financial & business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
