Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Project Engineering Intern for a large biomedical client of ours in the Summit, NJ area. This role will be a 3-month, full-time contract role.

Location: 100% onsite at their Summit, NJ location
Pay: $$25 - $29 / hour
Position Summary
The Project Engineering Intern, will provide functional support within Global Capital Project Engineering (GCPE) in support of Project Engineering. In this role, the Project Engineer, will work closely with multiple functions such as maintenance, environmental health & safety, information technology, and procurement to utilize engineering and business skills to analyze, develop, and deliver technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The project engineering intern will participate within GCPE in support of project design and execution:
Assist with the development and/or revision of project design deliverables. Prepare technical documentation and calculations in support of technical solutions and Design Standards Work closely with technical subject matter experts in support of engineering activities. Provide support to manage engineering systems, digital tools, and applications across the engineering community.
The intern, at the conclusion of the term will be expected to have experienced working in a global function, working across multiple functional areas to deliver technical solutions for either a project or business program.

Education
Qualifications & Experience
College Undergraduate currently enrolled in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Science major. Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university during program calendar year. Completed at least 2 years of college/university to be eligible for the program. Must have a ≥3.0 GPA Minimum availability of 12 weeks Previous experience in some job duties listed, either through course work or industry/academia Participation in student organizations and/or other leadership experience.
Experience / Knowledge Desired
Experience or Major/ Career Focus in Facility Design, Construction Management, Maintenance and Operations Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project, etc) Knowledge of Autodesk systems and applications Experience with Digital Applications preferred (Sharepoint, Tableau) Experience in managing projects (including scholastic projects)
On-site Protocol
Physical presence at the Client worksite or physical presence in the field is a necessary job function of this role, which the Company deems critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, employee well-being and engagement, and it enhances the Company culture.
