📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month contract Quality Control Lab Technician opening with a Pharmaceutical client based in Elkhorn, NE. Pay range for this position is $20 to $24 per hour based on overall experience.
Job Description
Our client's Animal Health facility in Elkhorn, Nebraska, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality Control Technician. Under general supervision, the Quality Control Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our laboratory processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist professional laboratory personnel by performing routine test media preparation, test sample distribution, and laboratory equipment cleaning/sterilization.Conduct instrument calibrations and maintain laboratory notebooks.Review internal documents against regulatory requirements for accuracy and compliance.Utilize various laboratory equipment including microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, laminar flow hoods, autoclaves, and more.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.Formal education in a technical-scientific discipline preferred.
Required Experience And Skills
Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects.Strong adherence to procedural guidelines.Proficiency in computer skills with excellent communication and writing skills.
Preferred Experience
One to three years of experience in a biologic laboratory setting.Ability to troubleshoot assay issues with a solid scientific foundation.Capability to assume additional technical responsibilities with minimal supervision.
