Responsibilities

As an Analyst / Associate, you’ll assist in the due diligence, credit underwriting, execution, and portfolio monitoring of private debt investments.

Areas of focus include, but not limited to

Conduct due diligence including company & industry research, cash flow modeling, financial and dataroom analysis to determine the creditworthiness of prospective borrowersAssist in the preparation of credit memos and present the underwriting results and recommendations to an investment committeeInteract with various stakeholders, including equity sponsors, company management teams (c-suite), investment bankers, sponsor coverage, credit professionals, legal counsels and operations personnelMonitor the performance of portfolio companies, including on-going compliance with credit agreements and internal policiesEnsure portfolio data is accurate, timely, and complete to ensure strong quality and reporting capabilities

Additional Responsibilities may include

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues as they arise and achieve goalsParticipate in internal initiatives to ensure the business is well-managed and operates efficiently

Who You Are

Analyst Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (minimum of 3.50 GPA)Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements, evaluate large sets of data and formulate conclusions. Has familiarity with leveraged buyout modelingDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong, clear and concise written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy skillsStrong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skillsAbility to work effectively independently and in a team environmentHighly motivated and intellectually curious and open-minded individualsProficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Associate Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (minimum of 3.50 GPA)1+ years’ experience within leveraged finance, private debt and/or related transactional experience.Knowledge of financial markets and fixed income strategies, including general knowledge of bond mechanics and pricing calculations is preferred. Ability to construct financial models such as three statement financial models and leveraged buyout models.Highly motivated and intellectually curious and open-minded individuals.Strong financial modeling, valuation and accounting skills.Collaborative, able to build and maintain strong relationships, manage expectations, attend to details, multi-task and prioritize effectively

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$86450 - $167000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office or four days in-office and one day remote. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
