Risk Management Specialist

What You'll Do

If so, Principal's Enterprise Risk Management team has an opening for a Risk Management Specialist to support our Enterprise program as well as broader risk initiatives! This role offers an opportunity to be part of transformational change and make an impact on how our team supports risk programs across the enterprise.

In this role, the selected candidate will

Manage risk programs, processes, functions, procedures and improvements to positively influence risk program adherence. Perform risk analysis, assessments and risk reporting that identify risk trends and insights related to risk programs. Communicate and partner with key business and risk stakeholders and lead risk presentations and trainings to business staffAppropriately challenge business processes

Who You Are

Bachelor degree or equivalent 5+ years of broad risk management experience (includes legal, compliance, audit or direct oversight of a business process with accountability for compliance or risk management)Must possess analytical and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organizationKnowledge of internal business operations and/or corporate functions preferred

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$77350 - $147600 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
