📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Overview: As an Adult In-Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and assistance to a twenty-three year old high functioning, mostly independent adult diagnosed with FAS within their home environment. Your primary goal will be to enhance their quality of life, promote independence, and ensure their safety and well-being as their supportive roommate.
Job Description:Model behaviors through coexisting. For example, proper hygiene, healthy eating habits, completion of household tasks, financial accountability and healthy relationshipsCommunicate with client’s treatment team bi-weekly with any relevant updates or concernsMaintains employment or education outside of home Provide companionship to support socialization and emotional wellbeing
Qualifications:Bachelors required; Master’s preferredMust be currently employed or enrolled in school CPR certified or willing to become certified (cost covered by employer)Must have access to own transportation Pets are allowed
Salary:Individual will receive $1000/month towards housing cost; any remaining housing costs will be split 50/50 between client and employee
Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a compassionate attitude. Organization and time management skills .Willingness to be a leader.
