Senior Manager - Production & Maintenance (Pharmaceutical)

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Manager for Production & Maintenance in Pharmaceutical Operations. This role requires a strong leader who can provide hands-on guidance to the Operations and Production Maintenance staff. The focus is on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through thoughtful planning, effective communication, and accurate execution of commitments. The successful candidate will establish systems to prevent and resolve service level issues, improve throughput capacity, and meet rising customer demand. This role is critical in meeting customer expectations while managing and improving line efficiencies, reducing waste, and improving material utilisation. Responsibilities:Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering ordered quantities within the requested delivery dates.Collaborate closely with the Product Development department to support the production of development products on time.Create, challenge, and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations.Ensure stakeholders are appropriately and regularly trained and qualified.Manage and arbitrate operations, production maintenance to continuously use efficiently all the production lines.Develop, maintain and communicate KPIs for making and executing SMART business decisions for continuous improvement.Comply with and assist in enforcing all site security requirements.Translate the company strategy into multi-year operational strategies.Participate in new business technical feasibility assessments and facilitate successful new product launches.Ensure self and staff understand, unite and align with the company's values and apply them in their daily work.Key Skills and Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Engineering or related field required; Masters preferred.Demonstrable experience in FDA or other regulatory agency environment.Familiarity in a leadership/management position in Operations.Acquaintance within a Supply Chain management role.Must be knowledgeable in regulatory and technical requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.Experience in audits and regulatory inspection including PAI.Must be fluent in the country language.Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing and filling.Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging in a pharmaceutical operation.Knowledge of production planning and S&OP process.Knowledge of Lean and Operational Excellence applications in the pharma industry.Knowledge of cGMP and FDA and International regulations.If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Dominic Williams at d.williams@proclinical.comProclinical is a specialist employment agency and recruitment business, providing job opportunities within major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.Proclinical Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
