📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Nationally recognized, 600+bed acute care Magnet hospital is looking for an Operating Room Manager to join their team! Flagship hospital system. They just installed one of the most advanced robots for surgery on the market. Lots of longevity on the leadership team, The organization's "experience" is how they treat each other, respect and collaboration, Inclusive and mutual respect, this all allows for a joyful work environment where everyone is heard, recognized, and has a voice,Reports to Director of Surgical Services. The OR Manager has 4 leads that report directly to this role, and then the staff and RN educator report to those leads. The department in total has 200 FTE and they run 12 ORs - inpatient only for this role.Looking for: strong leader able to maintain a fast pace and who is good with staff. Team Steps and Just Culture, they are an HRO (High-Reliability Organization) and all team members are certified in this. Must be good at working with the docs but also backing up the staff. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in nursing.2 years of management experience. 3 years of clinical experience.3 years of leadership experience in surgical services. California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association.Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree. Inpatient experience.
