📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a .NET Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies. You will lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and overall system reliability. Your expertise in .NET, cloud technologies, and software design patterns will enable you to contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications that meet business requirements and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.Analyse user requirements, identify areas for improvement, and provide technical solutions that align with business needs.Lead and mentor a team of .NET developers, providing guidance on software development best practices and emerging technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and products.Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and reliability through the use of modern software design patterns and coding practices.Develop and maintain application architecture documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance the development process and improve software quality.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices, applying new knowledge to project initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years as a .NET architect or in a similar leadership role.Strong experience with the .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.Experience with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.Solid understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
