📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a systems analyst senior or lead on the Claims IT team, you'll utilize the latest technologies and Agile frameworks. Our organization has 20+ Scrum/Kanban teams. You'll support two data solution Kanban teams and help with documentation, data flow diagrams, and business analyst responsibilities, including setting processes and standards, solving cross-team delivery problems, working with business partners, helping the Product Owner gather and document the requirements, facilitating meetings, managing the backlog, and aligning with enterprise data initiatives. You'll coach and educate our delivery teams through SAFe adoption. You'll guide the teams' use of visual management tools and our Lean management system. You'll act as a servant leader, problem solver, and escalation point for the team, all while working closely with the aligned the Service Manager and the Product Owner. Additionally, you'll support Claims IT by participating in Lean routines, contributing to continuous improvement efforts, and reporting on key enterprise metrics.
Must-have Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Math, Information Systems) and a minimum of four years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applicationsIn lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications may be accepted
Preferred Skills
Experience as a systems analyst or business systems analyst gathering requirements and creating documentation and data flow diagramsProficiency in Snowflake, AWS, ADO, Python, SQL and PL/SQL; familiar with Prefect for orchestration tasksExperience in creating reports in Mural, Tableau, and/or Power BIProven experience with successfully managing backlog and aligning with enterprise data initiativesFamiliarity with methodologies and frameworks, such as Lean, SAFe, and Kanban
Compensation
$96,000-$124,300/year Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
