Role DescriptionThis is a part-time hybrid role for an Adult Basic Education (ABE)/GED instructor at Project: LEARN of Medina County. The ABE/GED instructor will be responsible for facilitating educational instruction and support to adult learners. This includes teaching lessons, designing curriculum, evaluating student progress, and providing guidance and support. The role will be located in Medina, OH, with flexibility for some remote work. Average weekly hours will vary but not more than 10 hours a week.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Education or related fieldPrevious experience teaching or tutoring adult learners, preferably in ABE/GED or literacy programsStrong knowledge of ABE/GED curriculum and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to create a supportive and inclusive learning environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in using technology for instruction and communication
