📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Prolink is seeking a highly skilled Automation Technician to join the team of one of our manufacturing clients in Erlanger, KY.
Job Responsibilities:Utilize detailed knowledge of mechanical and design areas of automation to maintain and troubleshoot sophisticated manufacturing equipment.Perform general machining tasks as needed to support automation processes.Demonstrate thorough understanding of hydraulic functions in manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Apply expertise in electrical/electronic components to diagnose and repair issues with manufacturing equipment.Work with ABB robots/robotics systems, conducting maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting tasks.Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing clear updates on equipment status and maintenance activities.Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including necessary 12-hour shifts, to support production demands.Meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and modify PLC configurations to optimize production processes.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED required.Minimum of five years of experience in Automation in a manufacturing environment.Proven track record of working with sophisticated manufacturing and automation equipment.Ability to successfully complete drug screening and background consent process.Successful completion of onsite skills assessment during interview process.
