Job Description
Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents in paper or electronic filing systemConduct legal research and case lawSearch pertinent sources to determine causes of action and to prepare casesInterview or debrief people to determine factsCommunicate collegially and professionally with clients and lawyers on legal mattersWrite and respond to routine correspondence (email+)Deliver unprepared extemporaneous presentations with and without the aid of visuals
Position Requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Trial Director, or other trial presentation software is essentialKnowledge of CaseMap, TextMap, TimeMap, WestLaw, LexisNexis, and Accurint is desiredAble to multitask and support multiple cases simultaneouslyExperience with billing and time entry, drafting legal documents, records requests, and review, redaction of documents, vetting experts, conducting background searches, mediation, and trial preparation
