Summary
Our award-winning client is seeking a Regional Support Specialist to join their team.In this critical role, you will be our most experienced field service technician, playing a key role in keeping our robotic systems running smoothly across the Chicago region. You will travel to customer sites, perform preventive and emergency repairs, and provide technical support to both customers and your colleagues.Responsibilities:
Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance and repairs to ensure our robotic systems operate at peak efficiency.Share your expertise by providing technical support and comprehensive training to enhance the skills of your teammates.Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, both on-site and in-house, leading by example.Maintained equipment to a high standard, managed spare parts inventory, and collaborated with Regional Sales Managers to coordinate service needs.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree (AA) and a minimum of 6 years of experience in robotics maintenance and repair.Strong mechanical, electrical, and robotic troubleshooting and repair skills.Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships.Willingness to travel 100% within the Chicago region (valid driver's license and full car insurance required).A commitment to safety and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.This is not an entry-level position. The service team operates with an on-call rotation, with each group taking a weekend every 5th week.
