Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Use all types of hand tools to perform PM on machines, assist in minor maintenance duties, and perform general maintenance throughout the facilityAssist maintenance personnel in completing key tasks when required or as needed by safety actionsMust perform any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Graduate of a technical school and 1 year of experience, OR minimum of 3 years practical experience with various types of facility support equipment and production machineryAbility to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specificationsDemonstrate knowledge of PLC’s and automationUnderstand mechanical systems such as pneumatics and hydraulicsAbility to install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipmentFollow established programs, policies, and practices that meet regulatory and company requirementsEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work well with others in a team environment
