📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a luxury restaurant, is hiring a Seasonal Assistant General Manager to join their team in Long Island. This is a seasonal position that will begin in May and end after Labor Day with the potential to extend based on performance and the needs of the business. Candidates must be willing and able to visit two restaurant locations in the Hamptons. Candidates must be able to work a full-time restaurant schedule including holidays, weekends, nights, etc. as needed.
Job Duties Include:Assist General Managers with daily operational tasksCreate staff schedulesManage communication for FOH and BOHManage placing orders for inventory as neededAssist with inventory counts and managementProvide excellent customer service by prioritizing guest experience
Job Qualifications Include:5+ years of luxury restaurant experienceExperience supervising a FOH teamStrong written and verbal communicationImpeccable attention to detailWillingness to be hands on and assist on the floor as neededTeam leader with excellent interpersonal skillsExperience or an understanding of working with an international company and an understanding of elevated/European serviceAbility to stand for long durations on time as needed
Salary: $38 - $41/hr
