Job ID: 24-18768Pay Range: $20 - $24/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Under general supervision, this position assists professional laboratory personnel by performing routine test media preparation, test sample distribution, laboratory equipment cleaning/sterilization, instrument calibrations, laboratory notebook maintenance and other duties as assigned.Reviews internal documents against regulatory requirements for accuracy and compliance.The equipment used includes but is not limited to: microscopes, centrifuges, dry ovens, pipettes, pipette aids, syringes, laminar flow hoods, balances, autoclaves, freezers, coolers, liquid nitrogen, etc.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferredFormal education in a technical-scientific discipline preferredAbility to work successfully in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects.Ability to effectively follow procedural guidelines.Strong computer skills with excellent communication and writing skills.One to three years of experience in a biologic laboratory setting.Ability to support the troubleshooting of assay issues with a solid scientific foundation.Ability to successfully assume/complete additional technical responsibilities with little supervision.
