Vice President Operations

QLM Search is recruiting a VP Operations for a major International Services group supporting the Food, Beverages and B2B Ingredients sector. Reporting to the CEO this role forms part of the senior leadership team responsible for driving best in class operational performance across the business unit.

Key responsibilities include

• Provide leadership and planning for the division improving national operations and services· Lead and guide the operational remit of the business unit strategic/operational plans· Manage and develop all site operations procedures (multi site) with support from Regional and local site Directors· Shared P&L responsibility for strategic development and operational leadership of sites· Driving the simplification of processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of methodologies for the unit

Candidates must have come from an Operations background and your experience must have crossed into the Chemistry sector aligned to operations. You will have implemented standard operating procedures processes and methodologies and must have the ability to lead and motivate a team, combined with a strategic approach to implementing change to drive operating performance. In this role Operations and Chemistry experience are vital and only related industry experience, with excellent multi-site exposure in the sector, will be considered. Ideally your background and knowledge will have come from a Food Science, Food, Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry background with the required operations experience.
