Equipment Maintenance Technicians are integral members of our Wafer Fab operation in Greensoro, NC that delivers high quality, efficient manufacturing and advanced technologies for innovative RF products and solutions to Qorvo’s industry-leading wireless device and network customers.
They are responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing and test equipment. This is a challenging position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance according to equipment specificationsPerform corrective maintenancesupport continuous improvement projectsParticipate on the Emergency Response Team
Qualifications
A 2-year degree, or military or equivalent job experience in electronics engineeringPrevious hands on experience reading diagrams and schematicspreferred candidate will have some experience in semiconductor industryStrong electronic and mechanical skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsTeam player that builds, forms, and maintains working relationshipsAbility to apply previously obtained knowledge to new challenge
