Controller
QUAD is seeking a Controller for a privately held manufacturer located in the Bensalem, PA area.
The Controller will be responsible for leading a team in the operational accounting functions, maintaining records, preparing financial statements, audits, financial planning and analysis, and working closely with senior leadership to produce budgets, KPIs, and strong internal control. The ideal candidate should possess strong general accounting and financial analysis abilities; manufacturing industry and prior systems implementation experience is required.
Responsibilities:Developing and administrating cost accounting and accounting policies Monitoring policies to ensure compliance with GAAP, costs, budgets, and operating expensesManaging accounts payables and receivables, credit and collections, and operating cost accountingDeveloping product costing in collaboration with production planning, supply chain, and operationsAssisting with budgeting and planning activitiesPreparing financial statements and other reports as neededCompleting short- and long-range cash requirements forecastsDeveloping accounting department systems and proceduresSupporting asset management activitiesOverseeing audit activities
Skills/ Competencies:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred10+ years accounting and finance experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory/managerial roleCPA, preferredExperience working within a manufacturing environment requiredFinance and accounting systems implementation experience required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levelsStrong attention to detail Additional Details:Employment Type: Direct Hire Salary: To $150k + bonus
