GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Content Engineer will be responsible for managing the scheduling of content across our digital signage network and ensuring the accuracy and quality of all content prior to deployment. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to streamline content workflows and deliver seamless content experiences. Demonstrations, documentation, and client/user training are additional responsibilities. They will be at the forefront of an evolving industry, where innovation and forward-thinking are paramount. Key Responsibilities
Manage the scheduling and deployment of content across our digital signage networks using our Content Management System (CMS)Develop and maintain content schedules based on client requirements, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaignsMaintain, manage, and organize content libraries, including asset tagging, version control, and metadata managementCoordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, engineering, operations, and design teamsConduct thorough validation checks on all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelinesCollaborate with the design team to provide feedback and suggestions for optimizing content for digital signage displaysTroubleshoot and resolve scheduling conflicts or technical issues related to content deployment in the CMSMonitor and validate content execution and provide insights to inform content optimization strategiesMaintain a comprehensive understanding of digital signage technology and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in content scheduling and validation processesProvide training and support to internal teams and clients on CMS functionality and best practices for content managementWork with third party vendorsOther duties as assigned by leaders
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or related field
Experience: 3+ years of experience with managing scheduling of large-scale digital signage
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proven experience in content management or digital signage operations, with a focus on CMS scheduling and validationProficiency with digital signage software platforms (e.g., Telelogos, Scala, Broadsign, BrightSign) is requiredStrong attention to detail and quality assurance skills, with the ability to identify and resolve content errors efficientlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clientsFamiliarity with graphic design principles and multimedia content formatsAbility to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript) is a plus
