Night Janitor | Security Guard | Janitorial Job Description Routinely makes walking rounds throughout each building and the entire grounds of the community observing for any non-routine items, individuals, or occurrences that may interfere with normal community operations during non-business hoursMakes verbal contact with each night team member routinely throughout the shift, ensuring that everything is in order in each area of the communityResponds to the needs of residents, families, visitors, and team members by providing immediate assistanceDocuments findings of rounds in the Security Log Book, noting anything observed that was non-routine in natureIn coordination with a Care Partner, provides hands-on transfer assistance on the infrequent occasion where a resident requires two person transfer assistance during night-time hoursAnswers resident emergency call systemProvides back-up assistance to community team members during building or resident emergencies including first aid and call emergency medical assistance or other urgent resident situations

Night Janitor | Security Guard | Janitorial Minimum RequirementsOne year of previous experience in facility security services preferredPrevious experience in a senior living setting also preferredMust be able to exercise good judgment in emergency situationsCompetency in organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesMust possess strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills and enjoy working with seniorsAbility to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to interpret written instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, and to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team membersMust have basic computer skills, including Word and ExcelHave the strength and endurance required for standing, walking, bending, lifting and pushingMust meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensureMust maintain current CPR/First Aid credentialsSubject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal background check

Starting Wage $16.28- $18 per hour Night Shift
