General Summary

Consolidation and analysis of the Mobile Business Units financial forecasts, building and supporting financial models, and analyzing and reporting on key drivers of financial performance. Additionally, this role will manage the marketing contra budget.

Support Includes

Consolidate financial forecasts for the Mobile BUPerform variance analysis on financial forecasts (actual vs budget, etc.)Analyze BU performance by assessing key business metrics and drivers of financial performance.Build, improve, and maintain complex financial models.Build, maintain, and publish Tableau dashboards and reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the finance organization to craft consistent reporting and messaging.Present financial results to Mobile BU senior leadershipAd hoc data requests and pricing analysis supportAd hoc analysis to provide decision support for key business initiatives and special projects.Management of Marketing Contra-Revenue Budget including working directly with marketing team to oversee spend, review programs, and approve marketing development funds.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field6+ years of experience in Finance / Financial Planning & AnalysisAdvanced proficiency in Tableau (ability to develop interactive dashboards utilizing features such as parameters, sets, calculated fields, LOD expressions, user filters, action filters, etc.)Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage various projects under strict deadlinesSelf-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong problem solving abilityStrong ability to collaborate across departmentsProficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel & PowerPoint)Prior knowledge of Cognos TM1

Pay Range

$103,000.00 - $154,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
