Qualitest is looking for a Manual Tester to join our growing Information Technology team in United States.

Roles & Responsibilities

1-5 years of Manual Test experience Test case design and peer review Manual test executionIdentify and communicate any obstacles in completing tasks on schedule Participate in daily standups, provide feedback, and escalate accordinglyEngage with developers and business analysts in defect and issue resolutionHighlight requirement and design gaps as early in development as possibleCreate and/or maintain documentation for knowledge-sharing and training purposes

Requirements

Good to have

Basic understanding of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering practices and objectivesKnowledge of test repository or defect tracking systems like JiraAbility to communicate technical information at a high level using common languageA sense of accountability for individual and team objectives, with a focus on qualityAbility to be onsite in Chicago office location daily when neededReliable home internet access and appropriate workspace for taking meetings when working remote

Strong critical thinking and analytical abilitiesEffective problem-solving skills and an aptitude for thinking outside the boxProficient in technical writingCapable of prioritizing, managing, and monitoring multiple tasks and activitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAdept at managing time effectivelyQuickly adaptable to new informationDemonstrates enthusiasm and a positive attitudeComfortable collaborating in larger team environments
