Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk position will be working hand in hand with and report to the VP of Finance in the day to day accounting functions of our Precast Concrete Manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, experience in an office environment within the manufacturing or construction industry and have the ability to work independently while also collaborating with the rest of the Admin team in all areas and functions.

Job Responsibilities Included but not limited to

Accurately code and enter all Accounts Payable invoices daily Verify pricing and process customer invoices daily Assist with hourly payroll as needed Maintain accounting records in database Assist with timely and accurate month end account close and reconciliations Reconcile vendor statements Prepare accurate Financial Reports for necessary team members Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets Involved with physical inventories at the plant Monthly credit card transaction entry with reconciliation Other duties that support the financial success of the organization Support other Finance functions on a day to day basis as needed

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year office/bookkeeping/accounting experience Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization, internally and externally Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment Action oriented who is flexible and able to facilitate change Excellent verbal and written communication Computer skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office products with concentration in Outlook, Excel and Word. Access a plus Ability to learn new industry specific ERP/Accounting system Basic knowledge of accounting principles, processes and terminology Ability to meet deadlines, is a self-starter and can work alone or as part of a functional team Great values and high standards of ethics and trust Enthusiastic and professional with a “get it done” attitude
