CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Quantum Imaging and Therapeutic Associates (QITA) seeks an accomplished, forward-thinking leader with exceptional relationship-building and management skills and knowledge of health care, finance, operations, and quality improvement. They should be strategic, politically astute, and able to lead the organization as they head into unpredictable times for health care.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned executive and health care advocate to lead a well-respected private practice that is focused on providing patient-centered care. The next CEO will be a leader who appreciates the QITA culture and who demonstrates a commitment to its mission and the patients it serves.

This is a high-visibility position, requiring a strategic and skilled navigator with a sophisticated understanding of the drivers, trends, and outside forces–both threats and opportunities–that impact the health care world and the provision of health care, particularly within the specialty of Radiology.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Management: Build respectful and trusting relationships with the Board and Customers, as well as with clinical, operational, and front-line staff. Oversee operations in a way that realizes the mission of the organization and ensures excellence while encouraging innovation.Cultivate and maintain a high-performing executive leadership team.Work with leadership to recruit and retain diverse, talented, culturally competent clinical, professional, and administrative staff.Evaluate organization structure and roles, as necessary, to determine how they best serve the longer-term needs of the organization.Work with the Board and staff to develop a strategic plan, create short- and long-term goals, and ensure the organization’s priorities are achieved.Promote and exemplify organizational openness and fairness, encouraging a learning environment and culture of excellence.

Financial:Collaborate with the CFO and other key leadership to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions and departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.Establish long-term financial sustainability by building on existing revenue models and strategically seeking new models and revenue streams.Develop agreed upon metrics to monitor and measure the financial health of the organization. Communications & Advocacy: Plan and develop health care, labor, and public relations policies designed to strengthen QITA’s image and relations with customers, employees, physicians, and partners. Cultivate existing and new relationships, partnerships, and collaborations committed to improving the health and wellness of our patients.

Programs & Operations: Plan, develop, and establish policies and objectives in accordance with Board directives, licensing agencies, and health accreditation metrics.Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies.Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve operations and outcomes using meaningful and measurable data.

Governance:Enable the Board to make informed decisions that best advance the organization and its mission.Leverage Board members’ talents and encourage collaboration and engagement.Implement the Board’s goals and objectives in a manner that upholds the mission and strategic vision of QITA.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or related health care field preferred.Bachelor's degree with equivalent work experience of a Master's degree as demonstrated by such responsibilities as, but not limited to, accountability for organizational operations, budget development, analysis and oversight; marketing and growth; FTE management; expense control; policy and procedure development and implementation; and process development to ensure regulatory compliance.Five (5) years of progressive leadership responsibility in a health care setting and 2-3 years in a senior management position. Ability to lead at all levels of management. Must be accountable to the Board of Directors and able to deliver comprehensive reports for transparency.
