📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Summary
The Photonics team at QuEra pioneers cutting-edge photonic chips for integration into neutral-atom quantum computers. We are seeking a photonic designer to participate in our internship program. The individual in this role will contribute to the design of large-scale photonic systems.
Qualifications
Enrollment in a Master's or Ph.D. program with at least three (3) years of academic experience.Proficient with layout tools and the generation of GDSII for fabrication.Strong understanding of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and foundry processes.Experience incorporating DoE and DfM into PIC design.Experience testing PICs and working in an optics lab.
There is no relocation offered for this role.
