Job Title: Financial Reports Analyst
Job Description: As a Financial Reports Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and developing custom-built data reports and dashboards to support firm management in making informed financial decisions. You will collaborate with c-suite executives, directors, and firm management to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights through data analysis and visualization.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with c-suite executives, directors, and firm management to gather reporting requirements, including data specifics, formatting preferences, and design preferencesDesign and develop custom-built data reports and dashboards using various tools and software, including accounting programs, Microsoft Excel, and SQLIdentify report data requirements and extract relevant data from internal databases and systemsUtilize advanced data analysis techniques to analyze and interpret financial data and trendsDevelop efficient and scalable processes for generating, updating, and distributing financial reports and dashboards on a regular basisReview and validate the accuracy of financial reports and ensure that all requirements are met before distributionProvide technical support and training to end-users on accessing and interpreting financial reports and dashboardsStay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial reporting and data visualizationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or related rolesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Lookups, SQL, and other data analysis and visualization toolsStrong understanding of financial accounting principles and conceptsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholdersStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience working in a law firm or professional services environment preferredExperience with Aderant or other legal financial software preferredBenefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer advancement and professional development opportunties
