📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client in Spartanburg, SC is looking for a sales account manager to join their growing team!
Pay: $75K-100K + uncapped commission
Job Responsibilities:Building customer partnerships and growing existing business by understanding customer needs and the strengths and capabilities of our company.Develop and manage a sales territory and create a business plan based on our company’s strategic goals as well as uncover and close new business opportunities.Prospect for new business and identify new opportunities.Conduct sales calls and actively grow the size of your territory.Work closely with Purchasing, and operations to ensure proper inventory levels to meet customer expectations.Maintain weekly CRM standards to establish, track and close new business opportunities for long term growth.Achieve profitable revenue growth, including new business, while maintaining existing sales.Achieve gross margin targets by employing a consultative sales approach that focuses on building a long-term, value-based relationship with accounts.
Requirements:Live in South CarolinaBachelor’s degree5+ years of sales experience in chemical distribution sales is a MUSTSolid business sense with a basic understanding of the relationship between producers, distributors and end-user customers and the limitations that exist therein.
