Senior Manager - IT Asset Management
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Senior Manager – IT Hardware & Software Asset Management role will be responsible for defining, implementing and continuously evolving IT Asset Management program within R1 RCM. This role will create an IT Asset Management program including building a team, creating, and implementing processes, and providing direction for an asset management capability within the IT landscape. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining sources of truth of IT assets within the organization and supporting hardware and software audits. This role entails developing and maintaining processes, policies, standards, systems, and measurements that help R1 effectively manage the IT asset portfolio (software and IT hardware) with regards to cost, control, risk, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Process and Continuous Improvement
Drive the strategy for R1 RCM’s IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software) practice.Create partnerships with IT Platform Owners, End user support, ITSM, Sourcing and other relevant areas within/outside of IT.Ensure quality control through the lifecycle of IT assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage the IT Assets. Safeguard a detailed inventory of hardware and software assets and apply the information gathered to enable immediate corrective action on vulnerabilities, strengthen policy/governance, support audits, understand the software spend and manage end of life/end of services risk avoidance.Maintain the IT asset capability to empower the organization to better manage the lifecycle of hardware and software across R1.Support audit activities that may arise
Technology Acumen
Drive features and functionality on the IT Asset Management capability (ServiceNow) to enable the IT Asset Management Processes and show the value to continue to scale and mature the services.Create and maintain governance and support the interdependencies between ITAM (IT Asset Management), APM (Application Portfolio Management) and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) across R1’s ServiceNow platform.Reporting, Dashboard and AuditsGenerate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets.Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing and services.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or Project Management (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)Implementing new processes and functions within an IT organizationStrong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsHands-on IT Asset Management (hardware and software) experience in large complex organizationsAdvanced knowledge of ServiceNow technology and ITAM moduleStrong technical and ITIL service management background
Additional Qualifications
Lean practitioner certifications or training, as well as applicable experience in Continuous ImprovementITIL practitioner/Agile practitioner
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $63,140.06 - $143,517.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
