Title: Data Architect Onsite Location: Somerville, MA Data Architect for Data Advisory & Implementation ProjectFull Time and Contract C2C/W2
Role/Job DescriptionStrong understanding of emerging Cloud technologies and standards.Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, Data migration, Data Ingestion, automation technologiesStrong knowledge of SQL programming, Data Lake, PostgreSQL, ADFDesign and implement Cloud solutions, working to agreed standards and principles.Should have experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based applications and services using Azure technologies, including Service Fabric.Hands on experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.Knowledge on code review tools and techniques would be preferred.Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design documents and runbooks.Mentoring and coaching junior developers and other team members.Ability to learn new concepts and carry out technical research.Demonstrated ability to gain consensus in a diverse working group that may involve both IT and business leaders across multiple disciplines.Demonstrated ability work on diverse technical, and complex projects to completion.Strong communication skills, collaborating across diverse functional teams.Experience drafting and delivering communications to ensure full transparency within all levels of the business.Achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptive daily Skills & ExperienceHave good hands-on experience and worked on at least 6 projects (project minimum duration 3 months) using below tech – SQL programming, Data Lake storage (ADLS); ADF or SSIS and Databricks or Synapse Analytics (PySpark/Scala); Power BI and SSRS (PBI Paginated), Data Modelling & Reports; Hands On Experience with Lakehouse architecture; Hands on experience with SSIS pipelines would be added advantageHave worked as lead in at least 3 projects (project minimum duration 3 months) and have designed/implemented using well-architected framework and industry standard best practices – Designed storage and data pipeline solution using Azure Data Services specially around Medallion architecture; Contributed to 2 solutions and 4 Presales activity (estimation, proposed solution, assessment/advisory, SOW) Have worked on at least 3 projects (project minimum duration 3 months) or, one project and four end-to-end Pilot/PoCs, using below tech,Delta Lake, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQLStreaming data processing, Data ModelingLogic Apps, Azure Function, Azure PurviewMicrosoft Fabric - Environment Setup / Creating Pipelines & Lakehouse Database/ Semantic Models and Fabric reports Desired/PreferredHave knowledge/experience on below topics,Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Lake housePower BI or TableauAI/ML Integration into Data Pipeline solutions
