📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Additional Job Details:Expected Material Coordinator Responsibilities: • Generate • PRs • POs (inventory and confirmation of receipt of PO material) • SWARS § Own & drive to completion § Completion includes timely raw material transfer to manufacturing location & devices to test stations as needed § Create the SWAR’s based on the project needs § Work with Op’s (MFG Engineering/Test Engineering) to align the SWAR to the affected PWI’s § Coordinate providing the raw material/parts needed to support the SWAR § Coordinate the timing of the SWAR with Op’s in support of the project schedule § Move and manage the finished devices to a controlled location in Engineering § Distribute the devices based on the distribution plan § Track devices through the device tracking system – update as need to document device changes (hardware/software updates/testing that the devices were used for – Drop, Vibe, etc.) § Inventory used devices in a controlled location § Scrap devices according to process based on project feedback for re-use or not • Manage • General organization and management of all materials and devices in a controlled location in a tidy fashion § Engineering EVAL pre-build material § VVQ pre-build material § VVQ Devices § Coordinate which test devices (Formal & Informal) to retain for future audit or use in a future test (including scrapping of material when no longer worth retaining) • Post VVQ/CSA/etc formal test devices for future use • Location & quantity of devices available for use in future test § Create and manage Inventory Requests from operations – receive materials in a timely manner in alignment to the project schedule § Manage device re-work as needed with EE lab • Coordinate Device and Material shipments: • Materials, accessories, devices • To/from: § Other Client locations including SGTC § Vendors including Global Logic § CSA § Suppliers § Test houses § Other as required Misc: • Purchase Order creation and support • Working with the Buyer to get the PO created in a timely manner • Comparing the PO to the Quote - Making sure all of the numbers/qty’s are correct on PO • Send a copy of the PO to the Supplier Manager • Adding the PO to the material tracker • Tracking the material upon arrival • Inventorying the material for the Project use in a controlled location • Distributing the raw material based on the distribution plan • Reconcile purchases to deliveries • Provide surge capacity for simple COs • Priority visibility • Purchase of components for engineering team through P-Card • Responsible for interfacing with Shipping/Receiving Team to deliver purchased components to the correct engineer that requested the order Desired Material Coordinator Responsibilities: • Create and Maintain an Accessory list (primarily used to support test plans) • Portfolio list • Finance review - align monthly finance charges to PO’s and inventory transactions • CRB Assistance • Support CRB SME’s feedback for critical JIRA issues, update the PIL’s at CRB • Maintain PIL metrics to ensure timely closure. • Inventory Requests from Operations • Scrap Authorizations and MDO for damaged devices post VVQ • Prototype Tracking • Class 3 CO support (Geoff used to do most of our Class 3 CO’s) • Other project PE/PM support as needed
