Director of Fire & Life Safety (FLS)
Our client, a multi-site FM provider located in The Greater Philadelphia Area is seeking to add a Director of Fire & Life Safety to their team. This role is NOT remote. The ideal candidate will be required to travel to their office daily.
Opportunity SummaryAn integrated facilities company looking to add a Director of Fire & Life Safety (FLS) division to enhance and support their current clients and bring in new business by broadening current program offerings. The goal is to position the company as the leading provider for Fire and Life Safety services in the multi-unit market. The division’s offering will include providing inspection, maintenance, repair, and monitoring for the complete range of FLS trades.
Fire & Life Safety Program will include :Maintenance, repairs, monitoring, and installations (remodels, system upgrades, etc.)Trades: Portable fire extinguishersKitchen hood fire suppression systemsEmergency lightingFire alarm systemsFire sprinkler systems, including ancillary equipment (e.g., standpipes)Fire pumpsBackflow prevention devices
Target Information:8-10+ Years of experience in the Fire Life Safety industry, serving as Director or higher level for 5+ years.Must have experience with utilizing vendor partners to deliver the services.Able to bring industry relationships to build sound partnership to support company’s clients.Must be willing to wear three hats – lead Operations team to support existing and new client programs, be able to price out client programs and respond to industry RFPs, and willing interface with clients as a Fire & Life Safety Subject Matter Expert.This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.The ideal candidate lives in the general vicinity of Philadelphia, PA.
Compensation: $90-110K SalaryBonus – X% of company’s Fire & Life Safety DivisionHealth Benefits410K Program with company match programThree weeks of PTO
