Position Summary

As a Senior IT Product/Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IT initiatives by leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and requirements, and ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs. Leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and best practices, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conception to completion, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.

Essential Job Functions

Identify, analyze, and prioritize new features/work by collaborating with business units and IT teams to understand customer needs and define solution optionsSolicit feedback to ensure continued alignment and ensure features/work delivered meet customer and technical requirementsSupport new business engagements and proposals to ensure product/project approach is integrated and achievable in proposed solutionsDocument product/project requirements and execute upon initiatives to ensure these meet the needs of business partners and larger corporate initiativesCreate and maintain project plans/task lists, including milestones, tasks, dependencies, and deliverables using processes/tools appropriate for the complexity level of the projectExperience in leading SCRUM/Agile activities, including facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring efficient collaboration and alignment among cross-functional teamDrive due dates and task completion for business and technology teams Lead project meetings with stakeholders, users, and technical teams Understand business and system processes. Analyze different business metrics and conduct gap analysis and process optimization.Maintain Issues and Risks logs, proactively monitoring and coordinating to resolve issues and risks in a timely mannerMeet with business team members to discuss and assist with project requests and work with developers to determine the technical feasibility and scope of projectsMaintain project documentation through the project’s lifecycleAct as a liaison between business and technology teams to drive and facilitate requirement and design sessions and clarifications throughout the project lifecycle Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills accompanied by the flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast paced, changing environment Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above

Education/License Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience

General Experience Requirements

5-7 years experience as a business analyst or project manager

Minimum Qualifications

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), and project management principles (PMP, PMI-ACP, etc.)Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects and delivering high-quality software and/or infrastructure products on time and within budgetExperience with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft ProjectManaged both small and larger cross-departmental projectsClear and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent time management and problem-solving skillsExperiencing with data measuring, analytics, and reporting

Bonus Qualifications

Experience in ERP, Forecasting, Warehouse Management, and customer service in a pick-and-pack shipping environmentCertifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are a plus
