Job Summary
Full time-Direct hire, Controls Engineer- Brandenburg, KY area. Local client is seeking entry level Controls Engineers or Military electrical techs looking for an entry level Controls Engineer role. Position is paying a total compensation up to $100,000 + full benefits, tremendous work culture and future career path for growth. Candidates must be willing to work a rotating swing shift that is 4 on and 4 off. Position will rotate from days to nights every week.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will coordinate housekeeping/safety efforts, be part of a team that performs maintenance on, repairs and improves the equipment at the plant as well as supporting the overall operation of the manufacturing process. Safely maintain electrical equipment and components throughout a steel manufacturing plant, including electrical and electronic equipment and components, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). This includes, but is not limited to: troubleshooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvements, assisting with documentation and training for all equipment, and other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work rotating shifts. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within the plant; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
The Essential Functions Of This Role Include
working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentstanding for 4 hours at one timeworking up to 8 hrs of overtime per weekworking weekends
