Job Summary

Our client north of Boston is looking to add a Program Manager to their team on a contract assignment. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, preferrably in Mechanical Engineering, as well as 6-10 years of experience of working experience. Candidates should come from a background working with complex electromechanical capital equiptment. Candidates will need to be highly organized and have excellent project management skills. Responsibilities

Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives. Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance team atmosphere. Efficiently allocate resources and define clear roles and responsibilities for team members. Supervise the entire lifecycle of equipment projects, from inception to delivery and maintenance. Implement consistent processes and checklists to ensure comprehensive product releases. Foster regular team meetings to solicit and address input from Service, Sales, and Marketing. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely and cost-effective development of high-quality equipment. Collaborate with key contract manufacturers on technical enhancements, material cost reductions, and labor efficiency improvements for engineering issues. Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other departments to foster collaboration and alignment. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among various teams involved in equipment projects. Lead the planning and execution of equipment development projects, considering technical requirements, timelines, and budget constraints. Ensure that equipment design and development adhere to industry standards and customer specifications. Liaise with manufacturing teams to facilitate a seamless transition from design to production. Manage manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain aspects related to equipment production. Develop and implement maintenance and support plans for field equipment. Collaborate with service teams to address equipment issues, implement upgrades, and deliver ongoing support. Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with equipment projects. Deploy risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and monitor financial performance. Work closely with finance teams to ensure cost-effective project execution. Maintain up-to-date and accessible engineering documents for key stakeholders. Initiate Infor Syteline and CAD software integration through CAD link connection to optimize information flow and accuracy of Manufacturing BOMs, Option Kits, Spare Part Assemblies, and ECOs.
