Job Summary
A Materials Planning Support is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Katy, TX area. This role requires someone with warehouse experience to oversee procurement, inventory management, supplier relations, and data integrity, ensuring an uninterrupted supply chain to support production and sales.

Responsibilities
Determine necessary resources for uninterrupted supply to support production and sales. Ensure materials are cost-effective. Assist in determining and ensuring material quality. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials. Resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics. Find new suppliers when needed and monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
Skills: Follow established procedures, policies, and processes to accomplish tasks.
Education And Experience
Typically requires completion of High school diploma or equivalent and may require some related vocational training. Applies basic job skills and knowledge, typically acquired through limited relevant work experience (1+ years).
