📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary
A Production Planner/Scheduler is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This role involves coordinating production schedules, analyzing supply plans, handling manufacturing inhibitors, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery and high customer service levels for the Cabin Integration value stream.

Responsibilities
Understand forecast/planned Customer demand Understand forecast/planned production supply Develop a cadence to investigate supply plan supportability Understand material available-to-promise analysis Understand production clear-to-build analysis Validate schedule to capacity Release work orders in line with build requirements Perform supply plan reconciliation upon identification of manufacturing inhibitors Handle the escalation process for plan deviations Responsible for engineering change introduction, product transfer support, and entry into service planning Work alongside operators, production schedulers, materials, and equipment for on-time, in-full delivery Communicate with Program Managers, Operations Program Managers, and quality team as required to align priorities Optimize planning parameters (PFEP) to achieve plan and inventory targets Review engineering changes and incorporate the production planning component
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP and Excel (lookups, pivot tables) Great influencing skills Ability to work with multiple priorities that could be time-sensitive strong problem-solving skills Experience in a continuous improvement environment Ability to develop and champion an environment with high levels of structure, culture, and predictability
