📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary
A R&D Technician is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Valencia, CA area. This position involves independently supporting R&D efforts by developing and analyzing products, materials, processes, or equipment, constructing prototypes, proposing creative solutions, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities
Develops concepts and constructs prototypes/products from concepts. Explores and proposes creative solutions based on solid rationales, contributing to design and process concepts. Organizes, coordinates, and executes building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions. Assists project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards. Utilizes internal resources and qualified external vendors to identify and obtain supplies and services. Acts as a resource to other employees. Communicates project status to project teams.

Education And Experience
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience. Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
