Job Summary
A Senior Packaging Engineer is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the St. Louis, MO area. This Senior Packaging Engineer role entails leading and coordinating packaging process engineering functions across all stages of production for pet foods, treats, and litter, while applying expertise in food processing technology, overseeing capital projects.

Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and coordinate packaging process engineering functions. Cover all aspects of packaging equipment from primary packaging through secondary packaging and process unit operations. Apply expertise in food processing technology to wet and dry pet foods, pet treats, and cat litter production. Provide packaging engineering process design and review for capital projects. Coordinate work by outside consultants and suppliers. Support divisional continuous improvement efforts and provide technical assistance to operating facilities. Investigate and analyze problem areas and opportunities for packaging and process enhancements.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. 5+ years of packaging equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.
