📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary
Our client in Minneapolis, MN is looking to add a Site Safety Specialist to their team for a 6 month contract opportunity. Candidates will need to have at least 2-3 years of construction safety experience and be very well versed with EHS policies/programs. Candidates will be in an environment where they will need to wear personal protective equipment daily. If candidates have certifications in CPR or OSHA it is considered preferred but not required. Responsibilities
Ensure project site compliance with EHS regulations and company policies. Conduct regular inspections of site conditions and activities, including scaffolding, work at heights, permit work, and other high-risk tasks on a daily basis. Identify, analyze, and manage project hazards and aspects. Participate in project meetings as our client's EHS representative. Develop and deliver EHS materials/content as needed. Schedule and execute EHS inspections and audits. Provide EHS training, such as Contractor Orientation. Participate in investigation teams. Perform any other assigned duties.
