Job Summary
A Supply Management Planner is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Dubuque, IA area. This role involves coordinating the timely delivery of purchased materials, maintaining supplier relationships, implementing logistics processes, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities
Schedule and expedite the delivery of purchased materials to support production plans. Process suppliers' non-conformances and expedite corrective actions. Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve performance. Execute inventory plans using systems parameters and material replenishment strategies. Drive continuous improvement in performance with the supply base. Execute logistics requirements for suppliers concerning containers, packaging methods, and parameters. Resolve shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
Skills
Experience with SAP and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively with people from different job functions via email and phone. Detail-oriented. Ability to multitask. Experience with materials planning or buying.
