📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary
A Transmission Project Estimator Senior is needed for a world class utility company. Remote work in West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana or Michigan. This role involves performing highly technical estimating evaluations for complex projects and outage activities, ensuring compliance with defined procedures, mentoring and training on estimation practices, and collaborating with project stakeholders to continuously improve estimating processes.

Responsibilities
Perform highly technical estimating evaluations for complex projects and outage activities. Ensure compliance with defined project estimating and scope control procedures. Establish and integrate estimate and cost information to build master estimating cost models and databases. Mentor and train the organization on proper development of project estimates. Develop criteria for estimation and use of project and portfolio contingency. Work with project stakeholders to develop, implement, and continuously improve estimating and scope change management processes.

Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in power generation and/or transmission system estimating, engineering, design, or construction execution. Experience with estimating software packages required. Experience with Primavera a plus.
