Job Title: Excel/VBA DeveloperLocation: Houston, TX 77002Duration: 12 Months Job Description: Ability to develop custom solutions for loading and extracting large volumes of data to and from our business systems.Analyzes and understands complex business system requirements and is able to address them using tools such as MS-SSMS, SQL Scripts, Excel Macros, VBA etc. as well as provides solutions to address root causes with the intention to reduce or prevent such issues to reoccur.Demonstrated capability in optimizing system functionality and performance.VBA/ VB / Excel DeveloperKnowledge of key concepts of SQL databases, relational databaseAdditional Notes:
- They are looking for someone to look at the processes of their client experience (enrollments, billing, renewals and everything in between) with an eye to automation.- Need a good problem solver who has the proven capatility to come up with solutions.- Location: Hybrid, more time in the office at the beginning during the on-boardin period and then settling in to 2 times/week in the office- Interviews: Will be Teams focused on the technical aspects along with business acumen- Technical skills: SQL, VBA and Excel developer, knowledge of scripting- Proven ability to analyze large data sets- Enough of a comfort level with SQL to adapt/modify current queries- Education: bachelor's would be preferred in Comp Sci or MIS, minimum is high school with technical expertise to compensate- Years experience: 8-10 years preferred; 5-8 acceptable (rate shoudl reflect lower level)
