Job Summary

Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be a part of high-level activity and collaborative environment as part of our Electronics Commodity procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall procurement activities for material supporting the Raytheon business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers and functional areas to support a broad portfolio of programs across Raytheon.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategyWork with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documentsPrepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes)Review quotes, analyze results and lead negotiation plans / strategies as well as address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirementsFormally document purchase orders per internal proceduresPerform routine post-award management activitiesSignificant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)Assist Manager with team requirements as neededAble to support travel (up to 25%)This position is hybrid and requires the individual to reside within 50 miles of a Raytheon facility.

Basic Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Government procurementSAP experienceAbility to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) reviewAbility to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
