Job Summary

Candidate position is for a Production Specialist in B03 clean room facility in Goleta, California. The position is for production work conducted inside a clean room lab with full gown suits, ESD straps, microscope use and with frequent use of computer Microsoft Office applications.

2nd Shift – 3:00PM – 11:30PM – Goleta, CA. This position is an onsite role. *

Responsibilities to Anticipate

Working with adhesives, solvents, and/or paintHandling small parts and assembliesWearing a cleanroom gown or smock and an ESD strapOperating and troubleshooting complex equipmentReading and following specific work instructions and proceduresReading and responding to emails in Outlook and replying to team messages in a timely mannerRecording and reporting work done in an MES system

Basic Qualifications

6 years of experience working in a professional environmentExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)High school diploma or equivalentU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications

Current or previous security clearance at any levelExperience using microscopes and manipulating objects while looking through themExperience handling small electronic chips/componentsExperience using tweezers on small componentsExperience soldering electronic components

Additional Information

The hourly range for this role is $16.83 to $37.98. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
